What kind of advice do you need?
No matter how big or small your financial goals are, simply contact us and we can help you determine the level of advice you need to achieve your objectives.
General advice
If you have a general question about super that doesn’t need to take into account your personal circumstances, you can ask us over the phone, for free.
This could be information about how super works, the types of contributions you can make to your super, investment choice and insurance options.
Limited advice
If your question is more detailed, and needs to take your personal situation into account, we can provide limited advice about matters like which investment options might be right for you, contribution strategies (salary sacrifice and if you're eligible for a Government co-contribution) and how much insurance you may need.
We can provide this kind of advice to you either over the phone or in person. You can also use our online tool Super Adviser to get limited advice about your super at any time.
Personal advice
More detailed situations, or advice on a range of financial issues, naturally require a more personal approach. Our dedicated Industry Fund Financial Planning (AFSL 232514) financial advisers can work with you to provide full personal advice, usually face-to-face, which considers all your relevant circumstances.Typically, this advice and any recommendations the adviser might make are provided to you in writing in what's known as a 'Statement of Advice'.
As a HOSTPLUS member, your initial fact finding consultation with one of our advisers is free. If you choose to proceed to a more detailed review of your financial position and development of formal financial plan, fees may apply.
Rest assured, before anything is charged, you’ll be provided with an upfront fixed-price quote, and explanation of our fees, and how in most cases they can be paid for directly from your super account, before you decide if you’d like to go ahead with a financial plan.
