Competitive remuneration

Pay averaging

Being a HOSTPLUS member you have access to a broad range of extras such as health insurance at special rates and discount travel and accommodation. 

Candidate referral

We give $1,000 to employees who refer a successful candidate, after completing their probationary period. 

Discounted public transport tickets

Employees can purchase annual tickets at discounted prices from their salary package (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane staff only). 

Motor vehicle salary packaging

For relevant staff, via novated lease arrangement coordinated and administered by LeasePlan. 

Industry perks

Some of the perks we enjoy because of the industries we serve are tickets to the Australian Open for Melbourne staff, occasional tickets to AFL and NRL games and discounted hotel rates. 

Our work environments

We’re a friendly team, which is a good thing given almost all of our offices across Australia are open plan. Our Melbourne-based contact centre employees work with wireless headsets and enjoy our ‘Logo Lounge’ with a coffee machine and Foxtel to watch during breaks. 

Work/life balance

Balancing work and life is something HOSTPLUS strongly believes in. Ours is not the type of office where people are expected to stay until the boss leaves. We promote a greater balance for employees’ work and family responsibilities:  

  • 20 days annual leave 
  • 10 days personal leave and 12 days after 2 years of service. 
  • 24 hours pre-natal leave Maternity leave - 14 weeks paid leave after 12 months continuous service in addition to Federal government scheme 
  • 10 days paid paternity leave after 12 months continuous service 
  • Adoption leave 
  • Paid study leave 
  • Long service leave after five years 
  • Blood donor leave 
  • Jury service leave
  • Rostered days off and/or additional leave over Christmas for some roles 
  • Travel home assistance for overtime
