MORE Magazine Autumn 2015 Edition
2014 was an excellent year for HOSTPLUS with the fund collecting several high profile awards including SelectingSuper’s Super Fund of the Year and Money magazine’s Best of the Best award for Lowest-Cost Balanced Super Fund. In the autumn edition of MORE, our CIO Dr Sam Sicilia gives insight into how our long term investment results played a big part in these awards as well as introducing our new infrastructure investment option.
2015 is already shaping up to be another fantastic year for HOSTPLUS. We’re excited to introduce our new digital member card. Free to download, the card is stored on your smartphone in either the Passbook (iPhone) or PassWallet (Android) apps. You can check your balance, confirm your account information and even email your employer everything they need to start making contributions to HOSTPLUS. Best of all, every download comes with a free movie ticket valid at all major cinemas as well as selected independents nation-wide.
We’re also pleased to announce the return of the HOSTPLUS Hospitality Scholarship supported by Melbourne Food and Wine. We catch up with 2014 winner Mark Bashinsky of Matt Moran’s ARIA Restaurant in Brisbane to talk about the highlights of his experience. Entries for the 2015 scholarship are open now so if you think you have what it takes, or you know someone that does, be sure to read on for more info.
