  • Tax-free investment earnings.
  • Tax-free income once you reach age 60.
  • access to your capital at any time (tax-free once you reach age 60 and have stopped working).

How much do I need to invest?

You need to make a minimum investment of$10,000.

How often will I receive payments?

Payments can be credited straight to your bank account fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly.

Can I Transition to Retirement?

Yes, you can use a  Transition to Retirement (TTR) option to move into retirement gradually.

How many investment options are there?

You have the same range of 19 investment options that HOSTPLUS
members enjoy.

Can I switch between investment options?

Yes, you can switch between investment options weekly for free.

What are the fees?

Our fees are a competitive

$7.50

a week plus investment expenses.

a year) and no asset-based fees. Of course, like all pension funds, investment fees do apply.

Advice to help you plan your retirement

You’ll have access to our dedicated HOSTPLUS Industry Fund Financial Planning financial advisers. You pay only for the advice you need and, in most cases, the fees can simply be deducted from your HOSTPLUS account.

HOSTPLUS offers a broad range of investment options that you can mix and match as you wish. 

These include ‘pre-mixed’ options, individual manager options, or sector-specific options if you feel you want exposure to a particular asset class, for example property or diversified fixed interest. Plus, you can change your investment mix as often as you like at no cost.
