The easiest way to maximise your super is to minimise the amount of tax you pay on your contributions.
If we don't have your Tax File Number (TFN), your super will be taxed at 46.5% including Medicare levy, instead of 15%.
That's more than 30% of your savings going to the taxman.
What's more, we won't be able to accept any personal contributions from you. Not only does that stop you from adding extra to your super, you might also miss out on a government co-contribution.
The good news is, it’s easy to avoid the extra tax by giving us your TFN, and possibly reclaim any extra tax you’ve been charged in previous years.
Provide your TFN online now
To provide your TFN online using the collector below, you’ll need your HOSTPLUS member number, your date of birth and your postcode.

Got questions?
What is a Tax File Number?
A tax file number (TFN) is a unique number the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) issues to individuals and organisations to help them administer tax and other Australian Government systems.
How do I find out what my TFN is?
To get your Tax File Number, you can contact the ATO on 13 28 61 or check your last PAYG (Group) certificate that your employer gave to you.
How do I know if HOSTPLUS has my TFN or not?
You can take a look at your HOSTPLUS member statement.
These are mailed out in March and September or you can call us on 1300 HOSTPLUS (1300 467 875) 8am -8pm Monday to Friday.
