Hostplus Member Offer: Ginstronomy - Terms and Conditions.

  1. Information on how to enter, collection of personal information and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Submission of an entry is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
  2. The competition is known as the Hostplus Member Offer: Ginstronomy (The Competition). The Competition will be promoted by Host-Plus Pty Ltd ABN 79 008 634 704, AFSL No. 244392, RSEL No. L0000093, RSE No. R1000054, as trustee of the Hostplus Superannuation Fund, Level 9. 114 William Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000 Ph: 1300 467 875 (The Promoter).
  3. The Competition will be promoted via direct SMS between Friday 9 March, 2018 and Tuesday 13 March, 2018 (Competition Period).
  4. The Competition is open to Hostplus members who are Victorian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and companies associated with this promotion, including any prize providers, are ineligible to enter.
  5. To enter The Competition, entrants must click through the SMS message to the landing page on the Hostplus website, and confirm their first name, last name, email address and phone number during the Competition Period. Incomplete, indecipherable, or ineligible entries will be deemed invalid. Any incorrect entrant details submitted may render the corresponding entry invalid. It is each entrant’s responsibility to inform The Promoter if their personal details change prior to the Winner Selection Date. Entry is free.
  6. Entrants may only enter The Competition once.
  7. The prize(s) to be won are a Ginstronomy experience for the winner and a guest- both the winner and their guest must be 18+. (The Prizes). Transport to and from the venue, accommodation and any other associated costs are at the expense of the selected winners.
  8. The Prize(s) is/are valued at $275 per person for 40 individuals (consisting of 20 double passes):
    • Ginstronomy Experience $275 per person
    • TOTAL $11,000

    Bartending legend and local gin distiller Sebastian Raeburn will curate an exclusive gin experience for Hostplus members, exploring incredible native botanicals and the rise of Ginstronomy
    Exclusive introduction to distilling or mixing masterclass
    VIP tour of the Collingwood distillery Craft & Co (390 Smith Street, Collingwood, VIC, 3066)
    Round out the afternoon with tastings and a selection of cheeses, salumi and preserves produced on-site
    Take home gift for each guest from the cellar door or store.

  9. Prize values are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any variation in the value of The Prize(s). The Prize(s) is/are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or kind and must be taken as offered.

  10. The Competition will be drawn at Hostplus, Level 8. 114 William Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000 on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at 10am. (Winner Selection Date). The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All 20 prizes will be drawn simultaneously.
  11. Winners will be notified by email or telephone call from a Hostplus representative on the Tuesday March 13, 2018. If the winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days from The Winner Selection Date, another winner will be selected. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The Prize will be delivered by 2pm Sunday March 18,2018. [The prizes need to be collected at 2pm on Sunday March 18th at the Collingwood distillery Craft & Co. Winners must present their proof of identification to collect their prize. If the winner does not collect their prize at the designated time their prize will be forfeited. Entrants must be available to attend the event on Sunday March 18th from 2pm-5pm.
  13. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and for communication and promotional purposes. The Promoter may disclose personal information to third parties for the purpose of providing The Prize(s). All entries become the property of The Promoter and may be used for communication and promotional purposes without further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Entrants consent to The Promoter’s use and disclosure of information about them as contemplated by this paragraph. By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants do not consent to their details being used for future marketing and communication purposes, they should contact The Promoter on the details set out in clause 2. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at includes details about how individuals can seek access to and correct their personal information and how they can make a privacy complaint.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with or breaches these conditions of entry, who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that The Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems to be offensive, inappropriate, defamatory or otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of The Competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter reserves its legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from a person whom is in breach of these conditions or whom engages in any unlawful or improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of The Competition.
  15. If The Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of The Promoter, The Promoter reserves the rights, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel The Competition as appropriate.
  16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and including equipment/communications line/telephone/mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access (including by electronic means) to or alteration of entries) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any entry or The Prize(s) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any re-scheduling of fixtures/event. Should a fixture be re-scheduled, the Promoter will endeavour to accommodate the winner to attend the re-scheduled fixture/event, but accepts no responsibility if this is not possible.
