    Nick sits on the boards of Culture Amp, nura, XY Sense, Applied, Eucalyptus, and Making Things. He is the Exec Chair at Startmate, Australia’s best accelerator.

    Previously, Nick worked on Product Strategy & Operations at Under Armour Connected Fitness and was a Product Manager at MyFitnessPal, the world's most popular health and fitness application, acquired by Under Armour in 2015.

    Nick co-founded, and was CEO of, Sessions, using technology to help people live better, healthier lives. Sessions was founded at Rock Health in January, 2012 and acquired by MyFitnessPal in December, 2013. Sessions was funded by Blackbird Ventures, Collaborative Fund, SV Angel and Joshua Kushner. 

    Nick also co-founded We Are Hunted which was acquired by Twitter. 

    He was a Product Manager at Boxee, funded by USV and Spark, and acquired by Samsung, in New York from 2010-11.

    He holds Political Science and Law degrees from the University of Queensland.

    While at university, Nick worked as a journalist with News Ltd. His writing has been published in Wired, Fast Company and Harvard Business Review.

    Paul is a co-founder and partner of Square Peg Capital which is a venture capital fund focussed on investing in early stage technology companies in Australia, Israel and South East Asia.
    Paul is a Commissioner of the Australian Football League (AFL).  He is also on the board of Innovation and Science Australia, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and the P&S Bassat Foundation and served as a director of Wesfarmers from 2012-2018.

    Paul co-founded SEEK in 1997 and served as CEO and then as Joint CEO from 1997-2011. SEEK is the world’s largest online employment business and has market leading businesses in Australia, China, Brazil, Mexico and throughout South East Asia.

    Paul started his career as a lawyer and practiced for 6 years.  Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne.


    Stephen Ferguson

    CEO, Australian Hotels Association (AHA)

    Stephen Ferguson is the CEO of the Australian Hotels Association (AHA), the national voice of Australia’s vibrant hotel industry. The AHA represents more than 5,000 hotels from country pubs to five star resorts. Prior to AHA, Stephen was CEO of the Brisbane Racing Club, the owner of Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourses. BRC’s core business is thoroughbred horse racing, supported by a diverse portfolio including property development, gaming, hospitality and events. Stephen holds a Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Social Science and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

    Jo Schofield is the National President of United Workers Union, and in that role oversees public policy, member participation, democracy and equity.    

    Her work within the trade union movement, and with civil society has sought to advance the cause of social justice and address inequality. 

    She is a Vice President of the ACTU.

    For 12 years, Chelsea worked in the corporate world as a general manager and then a life adversity happened. After her life reboot, Chelsea has commenced her studies towards a PhD in Psychology.

    Her clients range from the 4 big banks, to tech companies like eBay and uber, Estee Lauder and The Australian Defence Force to name a few. She is regularly featured on sunrise, ABC, 2GB and channel 9.

    Her thoughts have appeared in Harvard Business Review, The Huffington Post, Forbes, and Fast Company and she is the author of “The Creativity Formula” and “The Innovation Formula”. She was also the under 13’s state table tennis champion in Victoria.
