True wealth isn't just about how much money you have. It's also about the personal value you place on your lifestyle, now and in retirement.
To build true wealth takes time and effort. There are plenty of options to help you boost your savings, from making extra contributions to your super, to implementing a financial plan to guide your investment choices.
No matter how big or small your goals, good advice is the best place to start.
Learning about building wealth with Hostplus is easy. We offer our members a range of resources, including seminars and sessions, educational materials and more.
Getting the right information to inform your financial choices is important. That’s why we offer our members a free session with one of the Hostplus dedicated licensed financial planner from Industry Fund Services Limited (IFS) ABN 54 007 016 195, AFSL 232514 to help you explore wealth-building opportunities.
When you speak with a financial planner you will:
Step 1: Preparation
Make your appointment with a financial planner. Find all of your financial documents and have them ready.
Step 2: Your first appointment
Your complimentary first appointment is about understanding your needs and goals and learning how you can achieve them. Once your planner understands the level of advice you need, they'll discuss any costs involved in preparing personal advice for you.
Step 3: Advice presentation meeting
Your financial planner will explain the recommendations that have been developed to meet your goal and objectives. At this meeting, we encourage you to ask questions to ensure you feel comfortable with the advice.
Your financial plan may include:
Step 4: Take action
When you’re happy with the proposal, your financial planner will help you make it happen.
Step 5: Monitoring and reviews
Your financial planner will help you review your investments over time. This keeps you up to date and able to take advantage of the opportunities open to you.
Our planners are located across Australia and if you can’t make it into one of our offices for an appointment, they may be able to come to you.
