Despite a year shaped by geopolitical conflict, higher inflation, rising interest rates and ongoing uncertainty, Hostplus delivered positive returns across all investment options for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.
Markets experienced a period of uncertainty during March and April, recovering quickly and ultimately proving more resilient than many expected. Investment in artificial intelligence and related industries also continued to support growth, particularly in the technology sector and emerging markets.
How our investment options performed
Members in our Balanced (MySuper) option received a return of 10.80% for the financial year to 30 June 2026. All other investment options also delivered positive returns, with several options achieving double-digit results.
