Before you
get started
Check your eligibility
- You must have an established complying SMSF.
- Each trustee/director of your SMSF must have a unique Australian mobile number and email address.
Check whether your SMSF has a corporate trustee or an individual trustee structure
- For a corporate trustee, you’ll need to provide the ACN of the company that is trustee of your SMSF.
- For an individual trustee, a copy or extract of your SMSF trust deed is required to validate the controlling trustees.
Prepare your identification details
To complete the online application, you’ll need to provide the following information:
- Identification - Each trustee/director must provide identification details (driver's licence, passport or Medicare). Please note, each applicant must have a unique Australian mobile number and email address.
- SMSF details – You’ll need to provide the ABN and bank account details of your SMSF.
Check your payment limits with your bank
To make your initial investment, you may need to request an increase in your BPAY or EFT limit from your bank. Please contact them to arrange limit increases if this situation applies to you.
Note: Minimum initial investment of $10,000. Minimum additional investment (per option) of $5,000.
