Share markets were volatile over the quarter, driven partly by Japanese currency movements and concerns about the strength of the US economy.
The good news is that nine out of ten of Hostplus’ SMI options delivered positive returns for the year.

Our SMI Balanced option returned 2.95% over the quarter. Our SMI Indexed Balanced option also performed well, returning 4.62%.
