Get tailored, specialist advice

Comprehensive personal advice could help you get on track to a future full of positivity. Sitting down and having an honest and realistic conversation with a qualified financial planner can help you see the big picture. It also allows them to view your situation (including assets and liabilities outside of Hostplus) holistically.

Your comprehensive advice journey

Our flexible pricing starts at $295*, to give you greater control over the costs of gaining valuable advice that can set you on your path to the retirement you want. Read more for how you decide the level of advice you want and pay for it as you go.

Once you book an appointment using the link below, you’ll first speak to one of our friendly Advice Support Officers. They’ll seek to understand your personal situation and ask questions about your goals and objectives to determine the financial advice you need. They’re also licenced to provide general advice.
If you need personal advice for your retirement, a financial planner will assess your information and undertake comprehensive modelling to determine whether you’re on track for retirement, for a fee of $295*.
Next, you’ll meet with your planner to discuss in more detail how you picture your retirement, and to clarify your goals, your current financial situation and  potential strategies that could help you achieve a better retirement.
Then it’s your call whether you decide to continue the comprehensive personal advice journey and get cracking to build a plan to guide you from where you are to where you want to be, with fees for services provided, payable as you go.
If you’re not ready at this time, you only pay the initial fee of $295 to cover the costs of the modelling and analysis, which will show you how you’re tracking to your ideal retirement, via a personalised retirement modelling paper.

*If you proceed to receive full comprehensive financial advice, which will include a tailored comprehensive Statement of Advice, additional fees will be payable. Depending on your needs, these fees will generally range between $1,500 and $4,000.

Prepare for your discussion

Our planners will walk you through the financial planning process, but it’s worth thinking about the following before you first make contact:

  • What’s your current financial situation? What income, expenses and debts do you have? Do you have any insurance?
  • What are your financial goals? What are you seeking to achieve? What are your priorities?

This will help us to understand how we can best help you, and how financial planning can guide you to the future you deserve.
