Hostplus has been awarded Canstar’s Outstanding Value – Superannuation Award for its default Balanced (MySuper) option, securing the highly decorated 5-Star Rating for a sixth consecutive year. 

The accolade is based on a sophisticated and unique methodology used by Canstar which considers investment performance, fees and product features across superannuation products. 

Canstar said that Hostplus’ default Balanced option continues to deliver consistent market-leading returns, demonstrated value for money and solid track record across market cycles. “Hostplus’ default Balanced (MySuper) option continues to stand out against the market for its exceptional historical returns, achieving a 5-Star Rating in every single profile for age and balance amount,” Canstar said. 

“Hostplus has demonstrated that its product is capable of producing market-leading returns in a good year, as well as the ability to weather the storm in bad years.”
