If you want your employees' Super Guarantee payments to be processed before the end of the financial year, Hostplus must have received and receipted the contribution by 30 June. For the best chance of meeting this deadline, we recommend submitting payments earlier than usual, in case there are any issues processing your payment.

Important update to Investments

15 July 2025

This update details changes to the investment menu including closure of two options and changes to the names of selected options which will become effective from September 30.

    Closure of investment options

    We are closing two Hostplus International Shares options


    We regularly review our investment options to make sure they’re working in our members’ best interests. A recent review showed lower take-up of two sector options that provide narrow exposure to the international shares asset class. Consequently, we will be closing two of our investment options:

    • International Shares – Emerging Markets 
    • International Shares (Hedged) – Indexed 

    Members who are invested in these options can switch out these options before 4pm on 26 September 2025. Any members still invested in these options will be automatically transferred to an alternate option on 30 September 2025 as tabled below.

    Changes to names of selected options and categories

    We are improving the clarity of our investment menu


    We are changing the names of selected investment options to provide our members with greater clarity of their investment choices. Following feedback and research, we are changing the names of certain options as tabled below:

    The purpose of these changes is to simplify the naming of our options by using labels that use less jargon and are easier for members to understand.
